KEVIN sets 10000m CLUB RECORD!

Kevin Tree has certainly started off the outdoor season on a great note – new 10000m club record of 29:20.49.
He recently travelled to Walnut, California (close to Los Angeles) to compete at the 58th annual Mt. SAC relays. With over 60 athletes competing in two sections, there was a lot of talent to contend with. He was placed in Section 2 (seed times of 30:00 to 30:24), and hit the halfway mark in around 14:48. He then decided to push the pace from the front by himself for next 5-6 laps and ended up winning his section by 5 seconds in 29:20.49 (works out to about 14:32 for last half). If he was in Section 1 (28-29 min seeds), he would have beaten more than half the field with that time.
Look for more amazing running from Kevin this summer!
